Director, Field and Clinical Experiences / Instructor, Assistant Professor
Jacksonville State University's College of Education and Professional Studies is seeking to hire a scholar who also serves as the Director of Field and Clinical Experiences.
The director of field and clinical experiences will be responsible for the implementation and assessment of the field experiences of pre-service teachers, professional studies, and graduate experiences. The director of field and clinical experiences will be the point of contact between P-12 partner schools and the EPP. The Director is responsible for recruiting, planning, managing, coordinating activities, developing and maintaining partnerships, outreach, and other duties as assigned. The Director serves as the CEPS liaison between local public and private P-12 schools and the institution to coordinate programs and services. The Director will teach the internship courses each semester.
This position requires the following:
* Master's degree in education (Elementary or Secondary Education)
* At least three (3) years of public teaching experience in a K-12 environment
Preference may be given to applicants who possess the following:
* PhD or EdD is preferred
* Experience in supervising students
