Job Description:

Responsibilities

Financial Management:

· Oversees the financial operations for RMHC Richmond.

· Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

· Manages budgeting and forecasting processes, providing financial insights to support decision-making.

· Maintains all accounting records of the organization, ensuring they are current, accurate, and dependable.

· Monitors and evaluates internal controls and reporting procedures.

· Coordinates with an independent accounting firm to provide data for annual audit and tax returns.

· Serves as primary staff support to the Finance Committee.

· Ensures RMHC Richmond has proper and required insurance coverage.

· Manages payroll administration.

Human Resources:

· Develops and implements HR policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals.

· Administers employee benefits programs and manage employee relations issues.

· Ensures compliance with labor laws and regulations, maintaining employee records and documentation.

· Manages recruitment processes with supervisors, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding of new employees.

General Administration:

· Collaborates with the Chief Executive Officer on financial planning and strategy.

· Maintains accurate financial and HR records, ensuring confidentiality and security.

· Supports RHMC development efforts through financial reports and insights.

· Promotes a positive workplace environment within the organization.

Qualifications

· BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA preferred but not required.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.

· Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

· Understanding of human resource management

· Strong knowledge of financial software and HR management systems.

· Exceptional problem solving and decision-making skills.

· Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

· Proficiency in Excel.

· Strong work ethic and collaboration skills.

· Passion for the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond and a commitment to serving families in need.
