Job Description:

Position Summary:

The Director of Finance is responsible for leading the finance department and overseeing all financial activities of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, compliance, and risk management. The role requires strategic thinking and leadership to help guide the company towards financial growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
    • Provide detailed analysis of financial performance, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
  • Budgeting & Reporting:
    • Prepare and manage the company's annual budget.
    • Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Monitor and manage financial performance, ensuring adherence to the approved budget.
    • Communicate financial results to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Financial Strategy:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability goals.
    • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO, CFO, and board of directors.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including tax and audit requirements.
    • Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
    • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
    • Oversee cash flow management and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
    • Manage banking relationships, debt, and capital structure.
  • Team Leadership & Development:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting professional growth and continuous improvement.
    • Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
    • Oversee recruitment, training, and development of finance personnel.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
    • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
    • Experience in corporate financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and tax laws.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
