Our Director of Finance will be a self-starter who has the know-how and commitment to lead the financial and accounting operations of multiple franchise companies in our portfolio. Who You Are

In your role as Director of Finance, you will support the CFO and be responsible for helping to manage the financial reporting, policies, accounting, budgeting, and forecasting activities of our portfolio of franchise businesses. You will need to have a strong understanding of GAAP, industry experience, and some public accounting experience.

Primary Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations of the assigned portfolio companies
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting principles and standards.
  • Help prepare financial reports and analyses for senior management on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis (P&L's, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow statements).
  • Be our expert in financial forecasting.
  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budget and forecast process, including monitoring actual performance against budget.
  • Assist in the company's tax compliance and planning activities.
  • Help develop and implement internal control procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Be the financial partner for CEOs of our portfolio companies.

Qualifications and Expectations

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, CPA with audit experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in industry and/or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles and standards.
  • Multi-brand and multi-location experience.
  • Proven leadership of accounting team.
  • D2C experience preferred, specifically in food and beverage.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
