As a Director of Financial Aid, you will be the subject matter expert on all Financial Aid topics. You will be advising the Financial Aid department on processes and procedures that comply with all Title IV guidelines. Position Overview: The Director of Financial Aid is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the Financial Aid office. This role will oversee the development and implementation of financial aid strategies, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and experienced leader who can inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.

Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of financial aid professionals.
- Financial Aid Expert: Develop and implement effective financial aid policies and procedures.
- Attention to Detail: Oversee the financial aid application process, award packaging, and disbursement.
- Mentorship: Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to staff.
- Advisor: Provide students with financial aid options and eligibility requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum five years' experience in an administrative position in the Financial Aid office of a public or approved private post-secondary school is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of five years of leadership or management experience is strongly preferred.
- Communicate effectively: Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Multi-Task: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in personal computer software applications, including Word, Excel, and Access.
