About the Client:
Our client is seeking a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis who will play a key leadership role across the organization's Finance Department. This role is highly visible and responsible for leading planning and providing broad decision support analysis to business leaders. Our Multi-Site Healthcare client is private equity backed and has over 100 locations. Their ideal candidate must have progressive Corporate FP&A experience within the Healthcare/Retail/Multi-Site industry and currently holds a Director title or similar.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term financial planning, and rolling forecasts across the organization.
- Partner closely with senior leadership and multi-unit operational leaders to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement KPIs to measure and optimize operational and financial performance across healthcare locations.
- Drive detailed financial analyses, including variance analysis, profitability modeling, and cost containment initiatives.
- Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions, including growth strategies, resource allocation, and capital investments.
- Collaborate with private equity partners, providing timely and accurate reporting, board presentations, and other key deliverables.
- Oversee and improve financial systems, processes, and reporting tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Support M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning.
Qualifications
- MBA required; CPA or CFA preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience in multi-unit healthcare, multi-site operations, or a related industry is strongly preferred.
- Private equity-backed company experience is required, including exposure to reporting, investor relations, and growth strategies.
- Proven ability to partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis. Experience with FP&A tools and ERP systems (e.g., Adaptive Planning, NetSuite) is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring flexibility and results-oriented decision-making.
