About The Role Our Economic Consulting Segment is seeking a Director, FP&A to lead in developing, managing, and achieving our companys financial goals. The director will interact with segment management to assist in preparing annual plans and to provide reports and analysis of monthly financial results. We are looking for a detail oriented and dependable candidate who will support the segment and implement best practices broadly across segments. What Youll Do Analyze Economic Consulting segments business operating results on a monthly basis and develop appropriate commentary for different audiences. Work with segment/regional/practice leads to understand business drivers, issues and opportunities. Produce monthly management reports for Senior Management, including financial information, key metrics and variance analysis. Lead the development, consistent definition and tracking of key financial and operational performance indicators. Assist with the development of quarterly commentary of Segment MD&A analysis for external reporting needs. Continuously improve the accuracy and speed of recurring reporting using PowerBI and other automation techniques. Design, develop, and maintain data models that effectively support reporting needs Lead and direct the budgeting/forecast processes, including revenue and expense assumptions, assessment of risks and opportunities, talent planning, and analysis for management decision making. Assess various business scenarios and translate changing economic, regulatory and other local conditions into financial implications. Manage the development of ongoing profitability tracking and reporting. As needed, participate in financial modeling requirements for potential acquisitions, etc. Support the long-term strategic planning process, ensuring reasonableness of assumptions and output. Provide ad hoc reporting as needed to support segment or Corporate needs. What You Will Need To Succeed Basic Qualifications Bachelors in Accounting or Finance 10 years of post-graduate professional experience with a concentration on financial analysis; analyzing financial statements, operations and management reporting processes and systems Advanced user of Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) including use of Visual Basic and macro development Proficiency in excel/PowerBI data modeling concepts including PowerQuery and basic SQL Knowledgeable user of financial systems, TM1, Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, database or other report writing tools Experience in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and revenue recognition Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) as needed Preferred Qualifications CPA/CFA Advanced Degree (MBA or equivalent) #LI-AF3 Total Rewards Our goal is to support the well-being of you and your familiesphysically, emotionally, and financially.
