Coda Search is partnering with a regionally based energy company with offices located in Westchester County. This is one of the largest energy service companies in the Northeast servicing over 100,000 customers with over $80M+ in revenue in 2023. The team is seeking to hire a Director of Fuel Trading & Logistics who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sourcing and shipping of petroleum and propane products across the North East in addition to monitoring inventory levels, formulating hedging strategies and identifying new trading strategies.

This is a great company that has shown consistent growth and this position will oversee all the day-to-day logistics and trading activity for its energy assets reporting into the SVP.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the shipment and tracking of all inventory and distribution
• Develop and manage domestic and international relationships with external suppliers
• Oversee and manage hedging activities and strategies
• Execute trades and monitor P&L movement
• Prepare Excel models to forecast inventory levels and trading strategies
• Manage banking relationships and lines of credit
• Prepare short/long term forecasts of inventory levels
• Work with counterparties and review contracts
• Work closely with senior leadership to ensure the supply of all products to customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• Advanced knowledge of logistics/supply chain
• Prior experience in petroleum, propane or heating oils
• 7+ years of experience required
• Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups and pivots)
