Apply today to our Director of Hospital Facilities Management and be a part of the innovation of ideas.Job Summary and QualificationsDirector of Facilities Management administers and directs programs to maintain building, grounds, and equipment and to procure or generate all utilities and their distribution systems, coordinate these activities with the other departments to ensure a safe and efficient operation. Plan and recommend development of physical facilities and oversees all new construction. Administers the Security program and is appointed as Facility Security Officer. Administrates the Bio-medical Engineering program through G.E. Medical. Administrates the Safety Program and is appointed as Facility Safety Officer. Develops and leads the Environmental Sustainability Program and is appointed by SDSAMC as Sustainability Coordinator. Administers and directs all aspects of the Valet /Concierge Services program.You will direct Engineering and Maintenance functions and set priorities.You will approve orders for equipment and suppliesYou will administer department personnel matters pertaining to employment, training, termination and grievances of employees.You will inspect buildings, grounds and utilities systems.You will advise Administration on alterations and repairs to facility infrastructure.You will direct testing of medical gas alarm system.You will supervise inspection of fire protection system, boilers, electric distribution system, chillers and annual PMs.You will prepare, submit and adhere to approved Operational and Capital budgets.You will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of all new construction.You will develop and maintain policies and procedures for Facilities Management, Security, Bio-Medical Engineering and Safety Management.You will administer Security program to include management of Security personnel through contracted services.You will exhibit effective leadership by the upholding of the hospitals Mission, Values and StandardsYou will administer and direct all aspects of the Valet/Concierge Services.You will act as Sustainability Coordinator responsible for managing HCA Environmental programs and initiatives.You will coordinate all facility Safety activities, TJC programs and processes. Responsible for managing the ( ESOC) Electronic Statement of Conditions.What qualifications you will need: High School Diploma or Equivalent Trade School or Technical College PreferredFive to ten years previous experience in supervision of installation, construction, maintenance of equipment, utilities, building and grounds.Experience in supervision of Security, Bio-Medical Engineering and Safety Programs.
