Job SummaryThe Hotel Director of Operations is responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction, maximizing revenue, and maintaining operational efficiency. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations: Manage all hotel departments including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage.
  • Guest satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by consistently delivering high-quality service and addressing guest complaints promptly.
  • Financial performance: Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control costs, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Team management: Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team. Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Quality assurance: Establish and maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and service throughout the hotel.
  • Sales and marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy rates and average daily rate (ADR).
  • Problem-solving: Identify and resolve operational issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and local regulations.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in hotel management software
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred
