Director of IT opportunity onsite at the corporate office of our Greensboro area manufacturing client, career opportunity for future growth/promotion. Client has recently implemented a new cloud-based ERP (Infor M3) to replace legacy systems. Position will be over ERP and Infrastructure/Networking/Security. Should have ERP experience and industry experience in manufacturing, supply chain, consumer goods, or similar. Team size of ~10-12. Looking for someone who can lead the team, get their hands dirty, be with the team, work on efficiency, how to fill gaps in IT, plan/strategic.Full-time/direct-hire position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Manage/ direct all lT applications and Infrastructure Operations and teams, including new cloud-based ERP system.
- Evaluate business processes and how the system/ team resources can best be used to improve operations.
- Manage all technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, vendors, and networking systems
- Develop strategy for IT infrastructure
- Day-to-day operations oversight - data, communication, security, support, etc.
- Manage projects related to the implementation of new systems and technologies
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating IT projects in line with organizational objectives
- Strategic discussions with Executives to modernize/ optimize IT systems, minimize downtime/ issues, and maintain strong competitive advantage
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Maintain access/ availability to updated systems and training opportunities for all team members
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience and comfort in communicating and negotiating with C-Level Executives.
- Ability to speak IT to end users who may not speak IT (client-facing position)
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, ERP cloud computing, applications, data center operations, and IT security
- Experience with virtualization technologies, enterprise storage systems, and network protocols
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on driving continuous improvement
- Communication and collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams and senior management
- Experience with Infor M3 ERP system, a plus.
