The Opportunity:

A permanent role based in Colorado seeks an experienced Senior IT leader for a fast-growing and thriving organization. This position is open due to the growth and evolution of the organization, which will allow this individual to take ownership and directly see the impact of their technical contributions as well as own the IT infrastructure that is vital for company growth. In addition to being the owner of the IT infrastructure strategy/vision, this person will direct new company-wide implementations and ongoing oversight of internal platforms.

The Director will operate in a multifaceted capacity and provide a wide array of expertise to deliver a high-performing technology platform. To accomplish this, the successful candidate must be equally adept at troubleshooting a technology problem for their direct team as they are in providing leadership-level strategy and management of IT operations.

The Team:

As the IT Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving corporate IT initiatives that empower the organization to achieve its strategic goals. You will lead and support IT functions, ensuring seamless operations across our local and wide area networks, infrastructure, applications programming, and enterprise systems. With a focus on service excellence, you will establish and uphold IT standards, policies, and long-term plans that promote efficiency and innovation.

Your leadership will be instrumental in identifying and integrating new technologies and tools that enhance the organizations internal processes and systems management capabilities. You will consistently evaluate technology strategies to ensure they align with the evolving needs of the business, while proactively introducing forward-thinking solutions.

As a trusted advisor, you will provide strategic direction and hands-on support to both onsite and remote stakeholder (employees, contractors, partners and owners), fostering a collaborative environment. This role will require you to work cross-functionally (People, Engineering, Security) to ensure we are executing our responsibilities to our partner teams and the business. By guiding the deployment of new technologies and oversight with maintaining existing ones, you will help the organization stay at the forefront of innovation, ensuring that our IT infrastructure serves as a strong foundation for continued growth and success.

***This will be 100% on-site position with some flex-remote work as time goes on. As such only local candidates in the Denver area will be considered.****

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Help set the mission and vision of a customer-centric IT organization
  • Assist with SOX, SOC2, and other compliance efforts
  • Manage IT System Administrators and outside vendors
  • Establish and manage IT Support and track SLAs and KPIs
  • Manage procurement, deployment, and oversight of all endpoints
  • Identify requirements for capacity planning, system optimization, scaling, and performance, focusing with the team on ensuring high availability for IT systems
  • Communicate effectively with leadership, peers, stakeholders, and end users regarding system and endpoint activities
  • Maintain and develop facilities infrastructure, including conference/meeting room technologies, system networks, and physical security
  • Identify manual processes and look to automate where appropriate
  • Provide technical mentorship to teammates and create and update technical documentation for internal IT teams
  • Push the team to industry best practices and drive change
  • Be an advocate for our users, understand their challenges, and look to remove blockers

What Were Looking For:

  • 7-10+ years of related work and/or leadership experience in technology with a verifiable track record of success
  • Advanced technology skills and in-depth knowledge of technology infrastructure architecture, design, and configuration for WAN/LAN/WLAN networking, cloud, storage, endpoint computing, and operating systems (specifically, MacOS/iOS)
  • Leadership experience, including managing, hiring and retaining top talent a plus
  • Demonstrated record of partnering with senior executives to understand complex business problems and successfully apply appropriate technologies
  • Experience working in a heavy SaaS-based environment
  • A positive attitude and excitement for building new processes and policies for a growing organization while understanding the importance of security and compliance
  • Experience in continuous improvement initiatives throughout Infrastructure focused on operational efficiency, service quality, and governance/compliance.
  • Attention to detail with strong documentation skills Compensation: $130,000-150,000
