Coke Florida is searching for a Director, Inventory Management to work out of our Tampa area office.
Coke Florida is seeking an Director of Inventory. This role is responsible for leading inventory Processes and Capability Development to transform Coke Florida's Inventory practices using subject matter expertise of business transformation concepts such as Value Stream Analysis and Process Improvement, Lean Thinking, and Capability Program Development.
- Assess Supply Chain Inventory activities and identify opportunities to make improvements using business transformation concepts
- Interact with key Supply Chain and broad business leadership to develop the business process transformation vision and strategies that will enable best in class customer service while minimizing waste throughout the Supply Chain
- Lead and drive business transformation initiatives and ongoing process improvement in the Inventory and Warehouse operations
- Properly engage, collaborate and influence all functions in business transformation efforts to ensure the Supply Chain process improvement strategy is understood, and sufficiently supported by the appropriate stakeholders
- Provide change management leadership to ensure we achieve and sustain our targeted performance levels
- Model, lead and coach people on the culture change necessary to support and sustain business process transformation
- Utilize the current management system documentation to standardize and sustain the performance improvement and improvement process
- Provide the knowledge, leadership and experience with Value Stream Analysis and Improvement, Lean Thinking and Six Sigma necessary to lead Supply Chain transformation and process improvement
- Responsible for hiring, training and mentoring inventory staff to ensure they follow safety protocols and use technology appropriately
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management Leadership across the Coke Florida Network
- Provide leadership in the development of the business process transformation vision and strategies. Short term- Provide “hands on” process improvement leadership where gaps are identified
- Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products
- Develop inventory staff schedules
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvement in inventory life cycle
- Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs
- Involved in system Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP)
- Involved in system S&OE and S&OP
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to bring commercial strategy to execution
- Develop project strategies, goals, and plans that enable the Supply Chain organization to improve internal operations and practices
- Track and monitor effectiveness of management routines and metrics; recommend and implement changes as needed to ensure business objectives are met
- Implement regular management routines to drive execution, focus and results on inventory initiatives

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in hands-on operational roles in supply chain management in a large consumer goods organization
- 3+ years of experience in leadership roles responsible for leading operations management/lead professional level people
- Strong experience with change management and influencing organizational culture change
- Must be willing to travel as much as 50% of the time
