Discover your future with us.InterFuze is seeking a Part-Time Director of IT in support of Corporate Operations in Huntsville, AL.The selected candidate will perform the following responsibilities:Strategic IT Leadership:
- Develop and implement an overarching IT strategy aligned with the company's objectives and federal compliance mandates.
- Drive innovation and efficiency across IT systems and infrastructure.
Cybersecurity and Compliance:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security frameworks to ensure compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53.
- Lead audits, assessments, and remediation efforts to maintain certifications and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address emerging security threats and evolving compliance requirements.
Microsoft GCC High Environment Management:
- Manage and optimize the company's Microsoft GCC High environment to support secure operations.
- Ensure proper configuration, monitoring, and maintenance to meet federal standards for handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
Team and Vendor Management:
- Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors, ensuring service quality and adherence to compliance standards.
IT Infrastructure and Operations:
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud systems, to ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions while meeting organizational goals.
Qualifications:Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and NIST 800-53.
- Proven track record of managing Microsoft GCC High environments.
Certifications:
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly desirable.
- CMMC Certified Professional (CCP) or Certified Assessor (CA) preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of federal cybersecurity and compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure and GCC High.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance which requires U.S. citizenship.
- Strong commitment to upholding federal compliance standards and ensuring secure IT operations.
