Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.Flexjet is currently seeking a Director of IT Operations who will be responsible for driving strategic technology initiatives and overseeing the planning, implementation and maintenance of technology operations while ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of IT Services. Our team has opportunities to work with varied departments for multiple brands across the private aviation industry.Duties & Responsibilities Supervising and ensuring the IT Services, data center operations, service delivery, and software architects meet customers' needs and align with organizational goals and objectives.Manage the technology operations of the organization.Maintains a highly competent staff to meet the objectives and strategies of the organization.Maintains a high level of service management.Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors and partners.Ensure that the organization is compliant with all relevant technology regulations and standards.Responsible for delivering large multi-layered software initiatives impacting multiple business units.Manage day to day activities of direct and indirect reports.Work with the IT leadership team on the service portfolio, governance, prioritization of resources, technical debt remediation, infrastructure modernization, compliance with the security strategy and compliance to enterprise architecture standards.Identify, interview, and on-board new individuals for open positions on the team.Education & Experience 10+ years managing technology and operations experience.Experience implementing and deploying complex and integrated information systems.Proven experience in technology operations management, including infrastructure, systems development, and IT support.Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Information Technology or related field.Experience working with Agile methodology.Experience in managing large projects including setting deadlines, identifying interdependencies, communicating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and setting expectations.Required Skills & Qualifications Champion a customer-centric approach to service delivery, ensuring timely resolution of user issues and inquiries. Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software as necessary.Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment.Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, and exhibit relationship management skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.Well-developed interpersonal skills that promote and foster a team culture.Candidate should drive towards team solutions instead of independent heroism.Possess excellent organizational skills, and communication skills both written and verbal.#J-18808-Ljbffr
