Are you a passionate and experienced nursing professional with a background in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum care? We're looking for a dynamic leader to oversee our dedicated team and ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead with Excellence: Manage the daily preparation of delivery rooms and schedules, making team assignments based on staff competencies and needs. Adapt to accommodate add-on cases and absent personnel.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Oversee the daily care of patients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and interpret hospital and nursing division philosophies and standards of care. Enforce adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements, as well as other governing agency regulations. Measure health outcomes against standards and make or recommend adjustments.
  • Team Development: Recruit, select, orient, and train nurses and auxiliary staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
  • Financial Stewardship: Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Operational Efficiency: Ensure the operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying emergency equipment availability, completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining equipment inventories.
  • Supply Management: Maintain nursing supplies inventory by studying usage reports, identifying trends, anticipating needs, and approving requisitions and cost allocations.
  • Hands-On Support: Assist with patient care as needed, including circulating and/or scrubbing. Be prepared to take call as assigned, including administrative and/or staff call.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • Experience: At least five (5) years of experience and training in Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Post-Partum care, along with five (5) years of leadership or directorship experience.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Current unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Colorado
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
