Summary
The Director of Learning and Development is tasked with overseeing comprehensive learning and development initiatives for company employees, encompassing onboarding, updated training on technologies, and methodologies. The Director of L&D will strategically develop and implement training plans, addressing competency gaps, enhancing performance, and supporting sales enablement and large-scale change efforts in alignment with the Prolink business strategy. Leveraging instructional design methodologies, the Director of L&D will create and deliver diverse
learning curricula, collaborating with sales and delivery teams to execute a continually improving training strategy. The role extends to overseeing nationwide production and fulfillment training, ensuring the readiness of both new hires and existing team members for success while contributing to overall organizational goals. The overall mission of this role is to develop talents to build and reinforce company culture, enable business performance today and tomorrow, and continuously improve L&D productivity.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and execute learning strategies that align with company goals, ensuring educational programs meet organizational objectives.
Ensure access to resources for all employees to acquire new skills and enhance performance.
Establish a framework for role-based training using adult learning principles, encompassing strategy, philosophy, methodology, and design with measurable outcomes.
Implement and monitor success measures, incorporating KPIs for visibility into training program
outcomes.
Collaborate with managers and HR professionals to identify training needs and assess learning styles.
Partner with clinical leadership to create a curriculum for national HUB delivery, linking clinical knowledge to fundamental learning experiences for client partnerships.
Collaborate with Talent Management to integrate talent development initiatives from job skill learning to professional development, evaluate program effectiveness, and make necessary improvements.
Build a team delivering proactive, just-in-time, and ongoing job readiness training to meet operational needs.
Establish a network of top-tier learning modules and facilitators to drive desired training outcomes.
Enhance the productivity of producing employees, including Recruiters, CRMs, Recruiting Managers, and Sales Managers.
Select and oversee tools, modules, and technologies that seamlessly integrate into the training
infrastructure.
Leverage technology and analytics to advance and measure the impact of offerings, providing insights to the Executive Leadership Team for informed operational strategy.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience as a training leader, with at 5+ years leading a training team.
10+ years of related experience in sales and staffing experience preferred (healthcare staffing strongly preferred).
Proven and successful experience leading a training department, leading to the proper execution of programs, subsequent improvement of operational performance across the business
Experience with adult learning methodologies and application through technology.
Demonstrated experience working with multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
Ability to present and articulate complex concepts to an executive audience.
Ability to internalize stakeholder vision and translate it into a compelling story.
Ability to commute to Cincinnati HQ weekly.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Relias, LinkedIn Learning, Workday, and Microsoft Dynamics
Masters preferred
