Director of Licensing

The Director of Licensing will report to and work closely with Vice President to develop and execute the licensing strategy for individual brands in US market. This will involve identifying product and retail partners and implementing branded products and promotional initiatives to engage consumers with our brands, thereby increasing royalty and driving profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop strong licensing partnerships. Expertly lead the relationships with key licensing partners, ensuring excellence in collaboration across all touch points across the business. Be the main liaison between the licensing partners, internal Iconix, and external partners.
· Collaborates with Licensees for assortment development, designs, development calendars, and product approvals. Ensure all associate deliveries are completed on time.
· Develop and implement marketing strategies for all brands across Design, Creative, Marketing and PR team.
· Working with current partners on sale projection, collecting revenue and approving designs from CADs to market samples.
· Establish and maintain brand budgets, on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
· Experience managing a brand across multiple markets. (Men's, Women's & Kid's)
· Self-starter who likes to work hard, can prioritize, multi-task and focus under pressure.
· Partner with legal team to understand key deal terms and ensure that material deal terms are adhered to, updated, and accurately filed.
Job Requirements
· Possesses and maintains relationships with many connections who you could immediately convert to consignors. Having a very strong network of professional contacts who could also yield additional consignors.
· At least five years' experience in wholesale, business development, and e-commerce.
· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business term sheet.
· Experience with different product categories from Apparel, Accessories, Activewear, footwear, fragrance, and Kid's Apparel.
· Work with brand executives, and licenses from contract to design development, marketing and samples.
