Responsibilities:
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations is responsible for reviewing hospital, equipment, service, and export contracts.
- Must lead the Production Planning Team
- Ensure meeting all product specifications to export clients.
- Must oversee program software to maximize product inventory management within the organizations system and hospitals.
- Responsible for the operational and quality systems in the Manufacturing and Logistics departments along with the Technical Operations systems team.
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations must work cross functionally with all Logistics departments.
- Generate revenue, look towards reducing expenses and maintain customer service standards.
- Develop and administer capital expense budgets and operating budgets.
- Partner with authorities from the states for smooth operation and optimize inventory levels.
- Ensure that regulatory activities occur as required, (AABB, FDA, CLIA).
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations must guide the Tech Ops systems team to aid departments in their quality, SOPs and corrective actions to include the Testing, and QC operations.
- Oversee all procedures and training material in the Manufacturing and Logistics departments.
- Responsible to meet shifting product demand numbers throughout to ensure hospital patient safety.
- Responsible for external export accounts staff, line up export operations numbers with collections budget and hospital product demands.
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations must work cross-functionally with Recruitment, Communication Center, and others to meet product demands.
- Ensure validations, SOPs, and policies for the department are complete and accurate.
- Oversee the quality, equipment, training, IT, and project management.
Qualifications:
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations must hold a Bachelor of Science degree. Masters preferred.
- Must have a minimum of 8 - 10 years' experience in a manufacturing logistics operation from a healthcare/ hospital background.
- Must have 10 years supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual is a plus
- The Director of Manufacturing & Logistics Operations must be proficient with computers.
Pay range and compensation package:
$100k-$150k/annum depending on experience
