**THE ROLE:**
A proven leader within the hospitality industry, the **Director of Luxury Sales** is an experienced professional who has demonstrated strategic performance, commitment and expertise in both corporate and luxury travel sales. The **Director of Luxury Sales** will solicit and penetrate through direct sales and marketing efforts, accounts which exhibit potential for business in our luxury downtown Chicago hotel.
**RESPONSIBILITIES** ( _Include, but not limited to_ ) **:**
+ **Lead Luxury & Business Travel Sales:** Oversee all business travel and luxury sales efforts for the Park Hyatt Chicago, ensuring the hotel meets or exceeds revenue goals and achieves optimal performance within its exclusive market.
+ **Develop & Implement Sales Strategies:** Create and execute strategic sales plans for volume and local business travel accounts to maximize revenue generation and hotel performance.
+ **Account Management:** Coordinate monthly and annual account reviews, develop market action plans, and drive initiatives to strengthen relationships and grow accounts.
+ **Corporate RFP Management:** Own and manage the corporate RFP process for all volume accounts, ensuring seamless execution and competitive positioning.
+ **Collaborate with Hyatt Sales Force Team:** Build and maintain strong relationships with the Hyatt Sales Force Team across various markets to align sales efforts and drive results.
+ **Manage Luxury Consortia Partnerships:** Oversee and cultivate relationships with key luxury consortia partners (e.g., American Express FH&R, Virtuoso, Signature), driving strategic marketing initiatives and maximizing sales opportunities.
+ **Sales Calls & Business Travel Engagements:** Conduct regular sales calls and business travel visits to key accounts, attend tradeshows, and represent the hotel at Hyatt Preferred Agency Program events.
+ **Site Visits & Fam Trips:** Plan and execute site visits and destination familiarization trips, in collaboration with Hyatt Sales Force, Convention and Visitors Bureaus (CVB), and strategic partners.
+ **Research & Identify B2B Opportunities:** Proactively research and identify new B2B sales opportunities, driving brand awareness and revenue growth through innovative account management strategies.
+ **Sales Call Goals:** Meet or exceed assigned sales solicitation call goals as set by the Director of Sales, Marketing & Events, ensuring a consistent pipeline of business.
+ **Website & Content Management:** Manage and update partner websites with fresh, engaging content and imagery that reflects the Park Hyatt Chicago's luxury guest experience.
+ **Guest Engagement:** Foster meaningful interactions with guests, ensuring every engagement offers a personalized, luxury experience that aligns with the Park Hyatt brand.
+ **Autonomous Decision-Making:** Work independently while adhering to established policies and budgetary guidelines to drive business outcomes.
+ **Team Collaboration & Leadership:** Lead, participate in, and facilitate team meetings as needed, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all departments.
+ **Sales Coordinator Development:** Mentor and develop a sales coordinator, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career growth goals within the sales department.
**SALARY:**
Salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,100. _Actual pay will be commensurate with experience._

**Qualifications:**
+ **Experience:** Minimum 5-7 years in luxury hotel sales, business travel sales, or related field.
+ **Luxury Partnerships:** Proven experience with luxury consortia (e.g., Virtuoso, Signature, AMEX FH&R).
+ **Sales Strategy:** Strong background in corporate RFP management and account growth.
+ **Skills:** Proficient in CRM tools (Salesforce, Opera), Microsoft Office, and digital content management.
+ **Leadership:** Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
+ **Communication:** Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
+ **Results-Oriented:** Self-motivated, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering results.
+ **Adaptability:** Ability to travel for client meetings, tradeshows, and sales calls.
+ **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.
