Job Description:
Job Summary The Director of Facilities and Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and building out the maintenance program across all City Winery locations. This role ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and operational, and that local leadership adheres to established systems and processes. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance will also manage costs and expenditures, identifying and addressing any excessive spending across each location. Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the optimal functionality of all equipment across all our locations.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure local leadership is following established systems and processes related to maintenance and equipment management.
  • Cost Management: Monitor and manage expenses across locations, analyzing cost trends to identify and address excessive spending.
  • Collaboration with Leadership: Work closely with regional and local managers to communicate maintenance needs and coordinate maintenance activities effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external contractors and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance services.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on maintenance activities, cost management, and compliance with established processes.
  • Training and Support: Offer guidance and training to local teams on best practices for maintenance and equipment usage to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance program oversight in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of equipment maintenance processes and compliance standards.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a focus on cost management and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel to different locations as needed.
