Job Title: Director of Maintenance

As the Director of Maintenance, you will oversee the maintenance operations of the aircraft fleet and customers aircraft, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining the highest levels of safety and reliability. You will be responsible for developing and mentoring a team of skilled mechanics and apprentices and support staff. Your role involves ensuring safe and efficient maintenance operations, collaborating with other company departments, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Director of Maintenance Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all aspects of aircraft maintenance operations.
- Lead the maintenance team consisting of A&P mechanics, apprentices, maintenance support/line staff, parts manager, and maintenance coordinator.
- Provide leadership and guidance to maintenance staff, ensuring proper training, certification, and performance standards are met.
- Create and lead the execution of the strategic plan for maintenance operations growth and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to ensure the timely and efficient servicing of the aircraft fleet.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with other departments, including flight operations, flight school, and aircraft Participate in recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding maintenance staff.
- Ensure financial goals are met including revenue, and profitability.
Requirements:
- Piston Engine Experience
- IA Certificate, or willing to get one
- 5 years of Piston Engine Experience
Compensation based on experience.
