Job Description:

Education and Experience: Required - Possession of a high school diploma, bachelor's degree* from an accredited college or university with represented work in architecture, engineering, public administration, business or related field, and five (5) years of any combination of successful documented experience, training and/or education sufficient to demonstrate the ability to manage large facilities operations and oversee public works construction and modernization projects; proven track record in a leadership position involving facilities and construction; thorough knowledge of legal framework governing school construction and public contracting; knowledge of laws, regulations, codes and standards related to public school facilities; effective communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to high standards of customer service and accountability for management of public resources; proven ability to lead collaborative planning and project implementation efforts. *An additional four (4) years of qualifying work experience may be substituted for the required bachelor's degree. The successful candidate will possess a current and valid California Driver's License with the ability to maintain insurability under the District vehicle insurance policy, be required to complete FBI/DOJ clearance, a post-offer/pre-placement screening exam, pre-employment online training, and a TB Risk Assessment. Additionally, the candidate will be required to enroll in the DMV Pull Notice Program. Please include the following required documents with your application for this position. Letters of Recommendation should be recent in the past two years.
