Myrick Recruiting, LLC has partnered with a Specialized Supplier on a Director of Manufacturing opportunity for the West Coast. Individual will be responsible for full P&L oversight and team management at all manufacturing facilities as well as oversight of the director of engineering and their direct engineering team members.
- Candidates in AZ, CA, and CO will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Management and support of the director of engineering and their direct team members.
- Consistently meet or exceed short and long-term goals and initiatives as defined and agreed to by the manufacturing manager and the senior leadership team.
- Define, implement, and refine operational guidelines, including workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality, that govern the manufacturing activities. Clearly communicate those practices and guidelines through the organization.
- Travel to manufacturing locations, 50%-60% of the time, and work with the group of direct reports that run the locations day-to-day to ensure procedure and policy compliance while also focusing on employee development.
- In partnership with the corporate supply chain and sales and marketing teams, support the development and deployment of comprehensive strategies to enhance manufacturing inventories which support strategic sales and marketing efforts

- Proficient with P21 ERP system with awareness of other manufacturing software options.
- A results-oriented, highly collaborative leader, with a demonstrated record of employee development.
- 4-Year degree with an emphasis on industrial or manufacturing engineering or equivalent work experience coupled with solid business acumen.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or equivalent.
