This job was posted by : For more information, please see: Our client in the direct sales health and wellness industry is looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications to join their team full-time.This is a hybrid role, onsite 3x a week in Scottsdale, AZ with the option to work from home on Mondays and Tuesdays.As the Director of Marketing and Communications you will be responsible for:-Setting vision, strategy and goals for the entire communications team-Establish communication plans and campaigns for Marketing and Sales teams-Implement and execute an industry-leading communications process within team, while collaborating on processes with other cross-functional team-Set the strategy and direction for messages to all audiences, managing competing interests and departmental resources-With direct reports, address identified opportunities by defining omni-channel marketing strategies that improve the customer experience through relevancy and value-Develop metrics and tools to access progress against the department\'s strategic plan.-Analyze reporting data, using metrics to adjust communication plans and processes.-Report on weekly, monthly and yearly metric/results on communications and the improvements/opportunities available.-Collaborate with other Sales and Marketing and Communications leadership to execute cross-functional campaigns-Champion departmental goals with department projects that increase brand awareness and engagement-Offer alternative and creative solutions, using data and knowledge of best practices to accelerate progress and achieve company goals-Establish departmental plans, roles and responsibilities including hiring as appropriate.-Alleviate pain points and delivering tools where appropriate for the communications team-Recommend and execute vendor contracts and manage on-going deliverables produced by partner organizations-Remain laser-focused to the organization recruiting and retention goals, offering support through superior communicationWhat you need to know as the Director of Marketing and Communications:-Bachelors in related field including communications, marketing, journalism, business or equivalent related experience-8+ years leading communications or marketing teams-2+ years of experience in strategic planning and change management communication is preferred-Expert in communications everything from social to e-mail marketing communicationsIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data.
