An active member of the leadership team, you work closely with senior executives and other key internal stakeholders to assist in the development and implementation of our strategic business, operational, and financial plans. Leading the marketing and advertising communications functions, you direct short-term and long-range planning and budgeting in support of our brand, business plan, and strategic direction.You take ownership of the membership experience, developing strategies for building brand awareness, generating and nurturing leads, increasing engagement, facilitating conversion, and building life-long relationships throughout the member journey. Deposits, loans, and services are your major focal points in developing and coordinating strategic programs to drive deeper relationships with our members. You utilize current technology and statistical techniques to analyze member segments, understand their needs, and develop positioning strategies to target them in marketing campaigns.Using surveys and key performance indicators (KPIs) to attain quantifiable results, you measure the market reaction to advertising programs, merchandising policies, product formulations, and packaging. You then present your insights to multiple partners with clear recommendations and expected outcomes. Under your excellent leadership, the marketing team is inspired to take pride in telling our story in a way that resonates with current and prospective members alike while staying within budget. You get great satisfaction out of helping us attain our strategic business objectives so that we can continue serving our members!QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience with increasing responsibilities
- 15+ years of relevant experience
- In-depth knowledge about and track record of success in market segmentation, product/service positioning, and related marketing concepts
- Track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting and achieving challenging goals, and demonstrating entrepreneurial leadership
- Significant ability to foster a culture of mutual respect, diversity, inclusion, innovation, employer/employee balance, and continuous improvement
- Familiarity with a variety of computer software applications, including Office, PowerBI, and statistical packages
- Advertising, business development, and relationship-building skills
