Position Summary:

Alamo Group Inc. has some of the most recognized and successful vegetation, outdoor power equipment, and agriculture brands in the market. In the Director of Marketing role reporting directly to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the individual will be responsible creating and executing a strategy for the promotion of RhinoAg, Dixie Chopper, and Bush Hog brands. The Director of Marketing helps lead a consolidated Marketing Plan to develop the strategic marketing campaigns aligned with the objectives of the sales department. This individual along with the support of additional marketing department staff is responsible to develop, build, design and maintain all marketing material to support sales including print, mail, videos, photographs, radio, publications, social media, and trade shows. In addition, this individual is responsible for all trademarks, logo designs, and legal requirements associated with those as it relates to advertising.

Essential Functions of the Job:

* Creates and executes an annual marketing plan that aligns with the assigned budget and objectives of the consolidated brands. (RhinoAg Inc, Dixie Chopper and Bush Hog Inc)

* Works with their marketing staff to create marketing campaigns for new and existing products across all brands. Analyze markets by geographical areas to make sure we are targeting the right customers and dealers for a particular region.

* Creates a consolidated plan for showcasing all brands collectively at trade shows. Manages the display of products and support literature/brochures for these events. Budgets, organizes and facilitates product launch and dealer meetings. Supplies cost effective marketing materials, giveaways and branding materials.

* Designs, maintains, and updates the websites to be current, easy to use/ navigate using up-to-date technology. Incorporates all areas of social and digital marketing relevant to drive sales and grow the brands.

* Guides their team in the preparation of advertising and sales promotion programs. Aides in the development of product videos and photographs to be used by marketing and sales. Designs and develops all product sales support literature.

* Travels when necessary to support product and sales staff.

* Requires up to 20% travel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA's):

* Ability to manage team members and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable laws. To include training employees, planning, assisting, and directing work; appraising performance, performance management; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

* Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

* Excellent communication and negotiating skills, both verbal and written. Good grammar usage and persuasive skills. Excellent customer service skills required.

* Ability to plan, prioritize and organize own work schedule and that of subordinates/sales force.

* Strong overall business acumen as it relates to other functional disciplines i.e. Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Purchasing.

* Proficient in computer word process, publisher, photo-shop, power point and excel spreadsheet programs.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing or Business is required

* Minimum 3-5 years previous marketing experience required

* Previous supervisory and/or management experience preferred

* Previous use of a CRM required.

* Previous experience with marketing analytics

* SEO and SEM experience
