Director of Medical/Surgical - Henderson, NCJob Summary You will assume 24-hour responsibility in directing and coordinating safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care for patients on the assigned unit/ departmentYou will assist in helping to drive local and organizational wide initiatives and delegate functions in compliance with hospital and nursing service policies, processes protocols and proceduresYou will assist in the management of unit budget and participate in and comply with the hospitals service excellence/ patient experience program You will provide safe and effective patient care based upon the nursing process, standards of practice and in compliance with hospital policies, protocols and procedures as indicatedQualifications5+ years in clinical nursing; preferably in Medical/Surgical.Bachelor of Science in Nursing.Previous clinical director experience in a hospital setting.A current North Carolina or compact stated Registered Nurse (RN) license is required upon hire.
