About the Department:
At Round Rock Independent School District, our mission is simple yet profound: “Inspiring students to learn, empowering students for life.” To fulfill this mission, we recognize the importance of addressing the social, emotional, and academic needs of every student. Our Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) initiative is central to this effort, ensuring students are safe, healthy, engaged, and challenged in their pursuit of academic excellence.
Through MTSS, we use data-driven decision-making processes to identify and align support with the unique needs of each student. This system allows us to continuously refine our practices to create a culture of excellence, empowerment, and equity. Leadership teams across the district work collaboratively to monitor student progress, adapt strategies, and prioritize the needs of our students, teachers, and community.
About the Role:
The Director of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) will lead the development and implementation of a district-wide MTSS framework that supports the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth of students. This leader will oversee research-based MTSS strategies and interventions while guiding district and campus leaders to ensure student achievement and engagement.
