Required Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Successful candidate must have a Master's Degree plus 5-7 years of management experience working with first generation, low income, and underrepresented students in an academic setting or equivalent. We seek an experienced communicator with proven ability to correspond with a variety of stakeholders effectively.

Competencies Required:

* Management experience, including staff supervision, and resource management experience.

* Financial Management of Budget responsibilities.

* Demonstrated ability for improving learning outcomes for historically underrepresented groups.

Skills:

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Requires the ability to implement, manage, and evaluate effective programming

* Experience in a higher education setting with budget, data and personnel management

* Demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of disadvantaged students

Preferred Qualifications

Fundraising and experience establishing and strengthening relationships with private and public sectors.
