As the Director of New Store Openings, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Project Oversight: Manage development projects through a robust project management system, ensuring comprehensive documentation and regular reporting. Responsible for ensuring compliance and adhering to Management Service Agreements by all parties.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with operations teams and other stakeholders to design concepts that prioritize excellent guest and operational experiences, aligning with concept prototypes.
  • Meeting Leadership: Lead development project meetings, including internal project reviews and client partner status updates, to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Risk Management: Conduct project risk assessments to mitigate potential budget impacts and delays.
  • Licensing: Coordinate with outside professional services regarding licensing. Ensure all new stores have secured all necessary licenses in a timely manner and are in compliance with local regulations and Company partner policies.
  • Task Coordination: Ensure timely completion of required tasks by all project team members, operations, and support teams.
  • Schedule and Pre-Opening Budget Enforcement: Implement and maintain detailed project schedules for each project. Responsible for managing the pre-opening budget to open the project timely and within budget.
  • Staffing Plan: Work with HR and Director of Operations to determine staffing needs and develop a plan for recruiting, hiring, and training for opening.
  • Marketing Plan: Work with Infuse Marketing team and client partners to develop a comprehensive marketing plan both pre- and post-opening.
  • Performance Measurement: Monitor and analyze project performance to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve escalated issues promptly to maintain project momentum.
  • Organizational Support: Coordinate activities such as meetings, conference calls, travel, and logistics efficiently.
  • Adaptability: Perform additional duties and special projects as needed, adapting to changing business conditions and requirements.
  • Proven track record of success as a multi-unit regional or national level restaurant operator with significant pre-opening, opening experience from concept creation, marketing, GC, architectural bid oversight, selection, and management.
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Hospitality, or similar subject preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience managing the opening of new restaurants required.
  • Project management certifications preferred.
  • Contract foodservice management experience a plus.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.
  • Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment.
  • Ability to use extensive working knowledge of all paperwork procedures necessary to complete the contract documents to obtain permits and prepare for construction.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
