Our PositionThe Director of Nursing position is responsible for all nursing services under the direction of the Senior Director, Operations. While the Director of Nursing position reports directly to the Senior Director, Operations there's a dotted line to the Medical Director for clinical guidance, scope, QI, QA, and coordination of process improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Guest Care & Advocacy: - Coordinates the relationship with outside medical and nursing support services including pharmacy and laboratory services.
Team Leadership: - Supervises, evaluates and provides leadership and coaching to nursing personnel.
- Arranges coverage for nurse absences.
- Provides Clinical Supervision to nursing staff.
Compliance & Risk Management: - Assures that the delivery of nursing care complies with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
- Works as an RN in a variety of capacities during staff shortages and in emergent situations.
- Completes clinical documentation as required.
- Understands and adheres to RI International compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Responsible for all state reporting requirements.
Cross Functional Collaboration: - Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
- Works closely with Senior Director, Operations and Senior Medical Director to curate strong cross - functional collaboration to foster interdisciplinary approach and comprehensive care.
Additional Duties: - Performs other related duties assigned.

Education/Licenses: - Valid and current state-specific RN license.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent experience required, Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience: - Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including two (2) years of behavioral health nursing and two (2) years of management experience.
Skills: - Basic computer skills.

- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
Driving Requirements: - If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in RI International driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
Miscellaneous Requirement(s): - Travel required based on business need.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.
