We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire's continuum of care.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Nursing Services (DON) to join our team. The Director of Nursing Services will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care. This supportive environment empowers our team to thrive and make a meaningful difference every day.Responsibilities;Oversee the nursing staff and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident careDevelop and implement nursing policies and proceduresManage the nursing budget and ensure cost-effective operationsRecruit, train, and evaluate nursing staffCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient careEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standardsMaintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentialityParticipate in quality improvement initiativeRequirements:Registered Nursing degree and certification in the state of NHMinimum of 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 3 years in a management roleExperience in a long-term care preferredStrong leadership and communication skillsKnowledge of nursing policies, procedures, and regulationsAbility to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionalsExcellent problem-solving and decision-making skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsCDC Infection prevention certification preferredKnowledge of PPS/MDS, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and standards as well as geriatric nursing preferredAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex or national origin, marital or familial status, age or mental or physical handicap.Job Type: Full-timePay: $56,549.46 - $68,102.57 per yearSchedule:* 5x8* Day shift* Holidays* On call* Weekends as needed
