Job Description:

The Director of Operations Regional Manager directs the company program and implements company policy to ensure compliance with contract duties (SLA) between company and our clients by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieving the organization's overall strategic goals and contributing to the sales and profitability requirements of the business as determined by the strategic plans.
  • Overseeing the complete operation of your team in accordance with the direction established in the strategic plans.
  • Staffing, guiding, leading, and managing your organization in accordance with the company guideline.
  • Maintaining awareness of both the external and internal competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards.
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage cost and revenue to meet company top and bottom line financial goals including:
    • Expanding business
    • Negotiating increases with Clients
      • Generate new MSA
      • Approve adjustments to SLA
    • Close deals
    • Reduction of operating cost
    • Develop new business programs to meet productivity and revenue goals
    • Resolve business issues and ensure that all escalated issues are closed
    • Evaluate division performance and recommend new strategies for performance improvements
    • Regularly hold meetings with key stakeholders to review the effectiveness of the business Policies, Procedures and Processes
    • Create, communicate, and implement the organization's vision, mission, and overall direction.
  • Maintain high level of Client communication which includes:
    • Client updates on staffing, periodic work performed, adjustments needed to SLA and recommendations of extra work
    • Resolve escalated issues
    • Anticipate clients' needs and plan for them
    • Develop, build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships
  • Staffing:
    • Ensure that team works in compliance with company policies and procedures
    • Responsible for employee recruitment, training, promotion, and termination activities
    • Develop and enforce best practices to ensure operational efficiency and oversee staffing adjustments to obtain maximum productivity
    • Oversee that periodic work is being performed for clients and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Work with Operations team to assure SLA's are being followed
    • Work with Account Managers to assure that goals are being met, clients retained and TAG work is being quoted properly
    • Design job descriptions with KPI (Key Performance Indicator) to drive performance management for all employees
    • Define job positions for recruitment and manage the process
  • Managing your regions subcontractors
    • Communicate the client vacancy report to the proper subcontractor
    • Review and approve monthly billing of your subcontractor
    • Build your pipeline of new subcontractors
    • Work with subcontractor to assure SLA's are being followed
  • Reporting:
    • Generate a quarterly summary report of work performed for clients in your portfolio
    • Review Monthly Billing reports for accuracy
      • Review periodical (Tag) work billing and margins
      • Monthly report on losses and business gains
      • Review and approve all proposals
    • Review and report on client vacancies
    • Report on monthly job costing and variance report
    • Document your quarterly meeting with clients and site inspections
    • Generate a monthly report on Worker's Compensation issues and resolutions
    • Monthly report on staff training and promotions
    • Quarterly report on staffing needs, promotions and other issues

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree is a plus
  • 10+ years management experience is a must
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work
  • Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills ability
  • Must be adaptable to change, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to manage and lead teams
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast paced environment under constantly changing priorities and demands
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Ability to maintain a budget
