We are currently looking for a Director of Operations to join our Team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide oversight to operations team members, ensuring collaboration and support for business lines.Carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees.Assist with reviewing, analyzing, and recommending improvements to current workflows to identify areas of opportunity and drive efficiency gains.Aid in the development of Operations “best practices” and recommend technology or process improvements.Work with department leads as project manager/SME to help identify technology that will increase productivity and create efficiency gains.Collaborate with business lines to develop and execute applicable training for all employees.Help identify and create synergies between sales and service to reach departmental goals.May lead departmental projects in a project manager capacity.Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to managers and maintain morale.Improve customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes as needed.Lead coordination and integration of efforts among departments to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.Other duties as assigned by manager.QUALIFICATIONS:
Property and Casualty producer's license.Ten years or more of experience in management, training, and/or operations.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.Strong ability to listen, discern, prioritize, and negotiate with clients and insurance carrier representatives.Advanced professional designation highly desirable (e.g., AAI, ARM, CIC, CPCU, CEBS, GBA, RHU, REBC).Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Department: Business Operations
Required Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Up to 50%
Required Education: High school or equivalent
