OverviewAt Grata, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Director of Operations to lead our newly formed Data Operations department. This is an analytical role where you'll manage 5 overseas research teams and their team leads. The ideal candidate has an analytical background who has experience utilizing data to make decisions. You'll manage 5 overseas research teams run by team leads, scale out complex data operations processes, implement changes that increase the operational efficiencies in the workflows.This is a unique opportunity for an up-and-coming leader to be part of our senior leadership team and work directly with the founders. - You will set the strategy, resource the team, and ensure operational excellence
- Oversee our entire Data Operations department
- Partner with product managers and engineering teams to contribute to data strategy and data management
- Get hands on - train the team, improve processes, and run weekly management reports
- This is a high-impact, high-visibility role interacting directly with Grata's founders
About You:
- 7+ years of work experience within Consulting, Operations, Data Operations, or a similar role preferred
- 3+ years of management/leadership skills
- Perfectionist obsessed with data quality
- Proficient in utilizing Excel/Google Sheets (SQL preferred) for analyzing large swaths of data and information
- Analytical thinker who is able to communicate perspectives clearly
- Gritty, scrappy, and resilient, with a strong bias for action and excited to take on new challenges
- Other technical skills: BI tools (Azure ADF, SSIS, Talend, Profisee, SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik)
- Interested in an office-centric culture
