Our client, a leading manufacturer in the electric motor industry, is seeking a Director of Operations to join their team. As the Director of Operations, you will be part of the Operations department supporting the Team1. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in electric motors and manufacturing, operational leadership and execution in motor manufacturing, and a results-driven leadership style that aligns with our client's culture.

**Location: Dallas, Texas**
**Pay Range: $150,000 - $180,000**
**What's the Job?**
+ Lead the planning and execution of the new facility's opening, ensuring 100% on-time completion based on the project timeline and 95%+ adherence to budget.
+ Use the WHO Method to bring the RIGHT people onto the team, achieving 95%+ on-time hiring across all roles and 95%+ retention rate for core operations staff in Year 1.
+ Successfully launch new programs (NPI + Transfer of Production), achieving 95%+ achievement of all Program Launch Key Milestones and 95%+ achievement of NPI budgets (by program).
+ Ensure operational excellence and performance monitoring, including achieving zero safety incidents (recordable or lost time), maintaining less than 2% COPQ, achieving 75% average labour efficiency in first 6 months + >80% labour efficiency thereafter, and achieving 100%+ achievement of program CM% (by program).
**What's Needed?**
+ Substantial experience and technical knowledge in electric motor manufacturing, assembly processes, and the broader electrical motor industry.
+ Previous experience leading and optimizing operations in a high-volume electric motor manufacturing environment.
+ Expertise and experience in cost management with demonstrated ability to understand cost from investment.
+ A results-driven leadership style that always speaks with and shows data to make informed decisions, collects critical data necessary to deliver results, and drives others to collect and share data.
+ Excellent communication skills, including transparent communication that ensures information flows throughout the organization without needing to be asked.
