Helping people get better is our business, so taking care of our people is critical to our success.The Director of Operations manages the performance of all assigned geographical regions and is responsible for articulating the corporate vision, ensuring responsiveness to area managers/clinic lead needs, and delivering quality services.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct leadership for area managers/team leads. Ensures training and development of these leaders for professional growth and success in position.
  • Establishes effective short, mid, and long-term goals for area managers and clinics. Goals must be clearly defined allowing for objective measurement of achievement.
  • Applies Human Resources policies effectively. Recruits, hires, and develops managers to meet expectations. Reviews staffing on a regular basis to ensure compliance with staffing matrix.
  • Ensures completion of on-time evaluations, training, and onboarding for all employees.
  • Establishes direction to all Clinic leaders for performance management of staff. Ensures issues with performance are evaluated and proper actions are taken immediately to address and correct issues. Involves Human Resources Director as needed to ensure compliance with policy and requirements.
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills; uses sound judgment. Considers options and consequences/outcomes of decisions made.
  • Delivers independent decisions within guidelines and expedites decisions when necessary.
  • Demonstrates effective analytical skills. Analyzes information and trends to improve productivity and profitability. Demonstrates ability to prepare and analyze statistical data.
  • Identifies community marketing opportunities and engages managers in grassroots marketing.
  • Meets with Area Managers on a regular basis, reviewing performance standards and compliance. Establishes a strong culture of accountability in all financial and quality metrics.
  • Manages time effectively and mentors Clinic managers in this skill. Able to meet deadlines without supervision.
  • Delegates appropriately and sets reasonable targets for Area managers.
  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills. Helps others to achieve the same.
  • Introduces new policies and processes, ensures understanding by all concerned, and ensures compliance with any changes. Cultivates an environment where employees respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices; developing consequences for violations or non-compliance; and supporting the Open Door Policy.
  • Assists in the opening of new clinics within the region.
  • Reviews and approves payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Resolves and approves billing holds, financial refunds, and accounting corrections originating within the region.
  • Monitors supply inventory.
  • Ensures patient satisfaction and achievement of assigned area operation metrics such as door-to-door times and overall patient experience.
  • Other duties as assigned. This is a safety-sensitive position.Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
    • 3-5 years of previous experience in a supervisory or management position preferred.
    • Good planning and organization skills.
    • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Previous training in HIPAA, medical coding, bloodborne pathogens, COR, and emergency procedures.
    • Proficient and able to train others in common computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email.
    • Superior customer service skills.
