Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and recurring processes essential for business execution, while identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategies to help the assigned area achieve critical goals and objectives in the most efficient manner possible.
  • Approve and allocate resources based on business priorities to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Evaluate existing policies and procedures, recommending and implementing changes to improve performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Collaborate closely with and provide oversight for customer service, order management, and inventory planning functions to drive seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EH&S) requirements, while managing organizational changes and developing standardized, world-class processes.
  • Oversee transportation and logistics functions, including managing the relationship with the company's contracted trucking partner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in distribution, warehousing, or logistics.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a geographically dispersed, multi-location team of managers and associates.
  • Strong expertise in process improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced skills in analyzing complex data and generating actionable insights from reports.
  • Exceptional ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Solid business acumen, including a thorough understanding of financial statements such as profit and loss (P&L) and balance sheets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and mentor team members to achieve their full potential.
