Molinari Pools is searching for a Director of Operations to join our team. We desire to hire a professional who is responsible for executive business initiatives and achieving measurable results by leading, managing and holding their team accountable for agreed upon commitments. The individual in this role will remove obstacles and barriers, manage strategic level projects, standardize operational processes and work to integrate these processes in the operational functions of the business. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in the trades industries, understand service and construction industry best practices and be able to successfully optimize routes and utilization of technician schedules. We are looking for a growth-minded individual who will exemplify client care and help us achieve the desired results through construction and maintenance of luxury outdoor living spaces.Job Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Faithfully execute operational portions of the business plan, achieving or exceeding planning P&L objectives.
- Leads, Manages, and holds the Operations team managers accountable for achieving agreed-upon commitments.
- Resolves issues effectively- seeing real problems, being comfortable with conflict, calling out issues and solving the issues in a practical and healthy manner.
- Ensures that everyone in the is truly following and adhering to the company's core processes and operating system with consistency.
- Effectively collaborates with other members on the Leadership team to stay on the same page, filtering and translating ideas and initiatives into functional plans for the company.
- Work to remove obstacles and barriers that may limit the team and company- ensuring there is proper training, resources, and staffing available to departments as needed and permitted by budget.
- Own all measurables relating to Operations on the Leadership team, holding the department managers accountable for desired results. These measurables include but are not limited to production, efficiency, revenue generation, open work orders, past-due balances, draw schedules, project gross profit margins, KPIs, and more.
- Work to improve organizational metrics such as route optimization to decrease drive time, technician utilization to increase gross profit margins and technician skill level to promote professional development.
- Oversee project draws, timelines and schedules to ensure the department performs in alignment with goals set for revenue generation, production, and operational initiatives (efficiency, GPM, etc.).
- Ensure safety and compliance for all functions within the Operations division- including compliance with OSHA regulations, training, and resources available.
- Lead as an example of organization expectations in terms of people and client care.
- Confirms that all key messages are properly and consistently cascaded across operational departments. Verifies that a high level of effective communication exists throughout the operational departments.
- Collaborates with Directors to create, document, and implement core processes and policies.
Requirements
- Must have a valid and acceptable Florida driver's license and driving record.
- Must have an acceptable background check and pass a drug screen upon offer of employment.
- Must be considered an accepted driver on the organization's automobile insurance
