This role involves collaborating with various departments, managing marketing campaigns, and driving customer engagement through innovative marketing strategies.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDirector of Operations
  • Plan, organize, direct, and control operational activities of production, engineering, and quality areas of the company including capital planning, preventive maintenance, production process improvement, new product introductions, ISO and IPC compliance, etc.
  • Develop and implement strategies, systems, and procedures for improving quality, production efficiency, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and mentor operations staff and teams and hold staff/teams accountable for achieving goals and meeting expectations.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring various aspects of operations and use data to set goals, objectives, and improvement opportunities and then monitor, measure, and report on activities and results.
  • Assure compliance to the highest level in terms of safety, environmental, legal, and housekeeping matters.
  • Set a strong example for employees regarding attitude, approach, accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and dedication.
  • Provide not just management oversight and planning but take direct responsibility for performing and completing certain tasks and projects ( roll up sleeves ).
  • Consistently enforce company policies and procedures. Counsel employees on performance issues or concerns and support them with additional training when appropriate.
  • Manage and control operating expenditures.
  • Represent the company and the operations function in interactions with current and prospective customers as needed.

  • Produce forecasts and other marketing activity reports.
  • Research and stay current on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Plan and develop appropriate promotional materials while maintaining a consistent corporate image.
  • Work with our marketing agency on the following: a. to maintain the company website and use it as a sales and marketing tool. b. monitor activity and initiate actions to increase the quantity of quality leads. c. plan and oversee multi-channel marketing campaigns including digital, print, events, and social media.
  • Create and manage annual marketing plans and budgets.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
  • QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
    • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Production Management, Business, Marketing or a related field.
    • 5+ years of production/engineering management experience.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
