This individual is responsible for ensuring constant collaboration and coordination between Cultivation, Production, and Sales, and ensuring the business is responding appropriately to market needs. This position reports into the EVP of Operations.Highlighted ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Team Development: Manage and develop a cross-functional team across multiple facilities, ensuring cohesive collaboration and alignment with the state and national operational goals. Foster a culture of servant leadership to encourage teamwork and professional growth.Strategic Planning & Alignment: Create and implement strategic operational plans in coordination with the State, National and Executive leadership teams, focusing on aligning state operations with market demands and retail strategies.Production & Inventory Management: Develop production goals based on sales and Operations Planning (S&OP meetings), ensuring the Operations team manages critical inventory levels effectively to meet market needs.Market Coordination & Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand and meet market needs, including periodic customer visits to gain insights and align operations accordingly.Financial Oversight: Manage the state Operations P&L, ensuring financial targets are met while maintaining operational excellence and cost control.Safety & Quality Assurance: Champion initiatives to maintain and improve safety standards across all facilities and drive site quality metrics to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with regulations.Capacity Planning & Scaling: Develop equipment and labor capacity models to anticipate and plan for scaling needs, ensuring the smooth expansion of operations as demand grows.Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Plan and oversee the launch of new products and the identification and implementation of new technologies, leading the production and cultivation team in optimizing workflows and driving continuous improvement.HR Coordination & Employee Well-being: Address team HR concerns proactively to maintain a positive work environment and support employee well-being across all state facilities.Additional Responsibilities: Undertake other duties as required to support the overall success of the state operations and achieve business objectives.QualificationsAt least five years cannabis industry work experience requiredCannabis Adult Use market experience preferredStrong quantitative skill setAdapt to rapidly changing environmentAbility to use multiple software platforms and potentially develop personal toolsExperience working in USDA/FDA regulated environmentAt least five years of people management experienceExperience working with sales teamsAbility to develop strategic plansExperience with conflict managementFamiliar with multitiered supply chainExperience with machine automationBachelor's degree in ManagementMBA degree is preferredAbility to communicate orally with teamAbility to work with a computer and remain seated or standing for extended periods of timeEEO StatementVireo Health, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.#J-18808-Ljbffr
