Location: Omaha, NEDescription:The Director of Operations will be responsible for food and beverage operations at the Omaha Airport (OMA, Eppley Airfield). This role will direct and oversee the overall operations and Human Resources. The director will liaise between the Plum Market Support Center, Omaha Airport Authority personnel, and the field operations to ensure consistent communication and procedures are followed to provide a safe, efficient, service-oriented, cost-effective operation.Responsibilities:Establish long-term operations objectives that are aligned with business goals.Collaborate with other senior leaders to align operational activities with company objectives.Develop and execute a strategic plan for the operations department.Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including airport personnel, partners, and vendors.Deliver high-quality food service and achieve financial targets.Maintain profitable operations by controlling inventory, losses, and safety.Seek synergies and best practices to develop and implement new methods to improve productivity or customer service.Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize productivity and service quality.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Set performance goals and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.Build strong relationships with key customers, vendors, and business partners.Address and resolve any operational issues impacting customer satisfaction or business relationships.Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.7+ years of experience in operational management, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.Ability to make strategic decisions and manage multiple priorities.Able to meet fixed deadlines and manage under pressure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.Capacity to communicate intimately with others.Ability to motivate transport and warehouse staff members.Capability to handle shifting and multiple priorities efficiently and effectively.Must have sturdy problem-solving skills.Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suites and ADP.Position will require frequent walking, standing, lifting, and bending.#J-18808-Ljbffr
