Job Description:
The Director of Operations will lead and direct all operational functions of TK Orthodontic component of Dentistry Just for Kids + TK Orthodontics in order to ensure organization effectiveness and efficiency.
The Director of Operations reports directly to the COO and is responsible for providing office management services to the Practice. This includes maintaining office services and efficiency, supervising office staff and maintaining office records, statistics and reports.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees daily operations and the work of the administrative and clinical team.
- Organize office operations and procedures.
- Designs, plan and implement strategies, plans and procedures for growth.
- Evaluate team performance, coach and discipline team members.
- Establish policies and procedures that promote company culture, core values and vision.
- Prepares operational and management reports, systematize, and standardize systems and protocols.
- Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organizations talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning.
- Holds team leaders accountable for providing constructive and timely performance evaluations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices to maintain compliance.
- Ensures protection and security of files and records.
- Prepares and monitors team members timesheets.
- Plan and implement office systems, layout and equipment procurement.
- Recruit and select staff members.
- Orient and train team members to include on-the-job training.
- HIPAA – Ensures that the orthodontic component is HIPAA compliant.
