Our Financial Services client is looking to add a Director of Partnership Accounting that manages and executes investment accounting and analysis, including oversight of financial reporting outcomes of all partnership investment products which includes, private equity, and real estate equity. This role is located in Springfield MA, and is hybrid.Responsibilities:Responsible to ensure the accurate, timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close cycles for complex investment accountingAdherence to an internal control framework that ensures accurate and timely financial reporting. Implementation of new control processes and assess improvements by evaluating the end to end impacts to partnership accountingDevelop and lead various initiatives focusing on increasing efficiency and adding valueHelp review, accuracy and timely completion of Partnership footnotes and NAIC schedulesExecute on process re-design as a result of the increase in our investment strategies Lead the research and implementation of new GAAP investment accounting requirements and determines the accounting process for new investments and investment related transactions.QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance or related field8+ years of relevant experience in Alternative Investment Accounting. Candidate must have direct experience in private equity, venture capital or hedge fund accounting.Experience in insurance company Investment GAAP, Statutory accounting a plus1+ years of experience developing and managing onshore and offshore teamsExperience in identifying internal control issues and remediation efforts. Preferred experience working with and supporting several corporate units.Hours are 8:30am to 5pmSalary is 130K-170K + bonus + profit sharingKBW789#LI-JS1
