Pixel Theory is a digital marketing consultancy known for driving growth through data-driven strategies and creative innovation. While we've built a strong foundation working with DTC and ecommerce brands, we are expanding into other consumer-facing industries.
We're seeking a highly driven and organized Director of Partnerships to help us achieve this vision by building strategic relationships with tech partners, VCs, investors, consultants, service providers, and prospective partners.
Role Summary
The Director of Partnerships will play a critical role in scaling Pixel Theory by cultivating new relationships across tech, AI, and consumer-facing industries. They will proactively identify and engage potential partners and prospects, establish Pixel Theory as a trusted resource, and represent the company at high-profile events in NYC and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnerships
- Develop and manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including tech partners, VCs, investors, consultants, and other service providers.
- Identify and onboard referral partners who align with Pixel Theory's goals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to partners, ensuring they are well-informed and confident in recommending Pixel Theory.
Prospect Engagement
- Directly engage with prospective clients in target industries, introducing them to Pixel Theory's capabilities.
- Represent Pixel Theory at meetings and events, building credibility and fostering trust with key decision-makers.
Networking & Events
- Attend industry events, dinners, and conferences to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Represent Pixel Theory in NYC's vibrant professional and social scenes, ensuring consistent visibility.
Business Development
- Work with the founder to develop strategies for expanding Pixel Theory's presence in AI, tech, and other consumer-facing spaces.
- Share insights and opportunities with partners and internal teams, creating a collaborative ecosystem.
- Track partnership performance and provide regular updates and recommendations to the founder.
Qualifications
Professional Background
- 4+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a related role, preferably within the marketing, tech, or consulting sectors.
- Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships that drive measurable results.
Skills & Attributes
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple partnerships simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and credibility.
- A proactive, self-starter mindset with a knack for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Comfortable attending events independently, representing Pixel Theory with professionalism and confidence.
Ideal Candidate
- NYC-based and familiar with the city's professional and social landscape.
- Experience working in or with AI, tech, or consumer-facing industries is a significant advantage.
