Title: Director of People and Culture NAReports to: Global Chief People & Culture OfficerLeader of people: Direct supervisor of othersDepartment: People and Culture Location: Eugene FLSA Designation: Salaried/Exempt Yogi and Choice Tea Brands / East West Tea Company (EWT) is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Director of People and Culture to join our People and Culture team. The Director of People and Culture is the strategic HR business partner to the leadership team of ETWC; based in Eugene Oregon. This role reports to the CPCO in Germany and is responsible for supporting EWTC business objectives, strategic goals and human resources initiatives. The Director is a trusted advisor to employees and business leaders regarding HR policies and drives and supports processes to optimize employee engagement. WHAT YOU'LL OWN: Act as strategic business and thought partner to COO and Leadership Team in the business units such as Operations, R&D, Marketing and Sales. Co-shape Yogi ONE People & Culture strategy and develop and execute local EWTC P&C strategy that aligns with the business strategy, goals, and objectives. Provide guidance, consulting and coaching on people initiatives such as conflict resolution, performance management, engagement, etc. Be a champion for well-being programs related to the Gallup five pillars, ensuring People & Culture strategies align to the overall well-being in cooperation with Talent Director. Manage the total rewards program; analyze trends in compensation and key benefit programs (medical, dental, etc.); research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Lead execution of the global Annual Reward Cycle across EWTC, Yogi Tea Germany and Teapak (Italy). Analyze HR Processes across EWTC to identify, recommend and implement opportunities for improvement, also in collaboration with Yogi Tea GmbH and Teapak. Partner with P&C leadership in support of programs aligned with the company Mission and Values. Role model Yogi`s mission, vision, and values of and supports the ongoing development of the organization's culture by being a champion for any of Yogis Vision, Mission and Values initiatives. WHAT YOU KNOW AND HAVE EXPERIENCED: Management experience and manufacturing leadership experience is required. A minimum of 10 years of human resource related experience with at least 3 years' people management experience. A bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources, or equivalent experience required. Masters degree preferred. SHRM Certified credential preferred. Prior experience in manufacturing is requiredYOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT: Strong in developing partnering relationships with senior executives throughout the organization and building high levels of professional credibility and mutual trust Strong in identifying and managing stakeholders, finding out their needs, issues, and concerns and reacting and adapting to them. Solid organizational development and project management skills with ability to develop and execute strategies and end-to-end programs. Exceptional interpersonal skills and negotiation skills. Organized with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities on a daily basis and with precision Comfort with uncertain, vague, or contradictory information that prevents a clear understanding or direction. Ability to identify talent, position them for success, and invest in their development. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership skills.
