Job Description:
Overview Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state of the art beverage manufacturing facility currently under construction in Waco TX. The 640,000 sqft. facility is situated in Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule with a target start date of January 2026. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of Electrolit TM, the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US. Location: Electrolit Manufacturing Plant, Waco, TX Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Director of Plant Operations will be to oversee the daily operational activities of the Manufacturing Plant. The Director of Plant Operations will be responsible for developing and managing production schedules to meet internal volume, cost, and quality goals. This position will utilize operational metrics to analyze productivity, identify issues, and set performance targets to achieve production goals. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA. The Director of Plant Operations will report to the President, CEO. Principal Duties Manage operations budget to ensure minimal production cost and optimal product quality. Delegate and assign work tasks to production staff to achieve set manufacturing targets. Ensure timely and effective delivery of goods to clients. Directs Managers to develop and implement policies for general plant operations. Review production processes and procedures to ensure they operate at the highest possible efficiency. Optimize production process by eliminating wastes and other constraints to improve work efficiency. Oversee the hiring and training of operations personnel to ensure a capable workforce. Lead employee performance evaluation programs, staff development, and talent retention strategies for the manufacturing plant. Develop and direct a continuing improvement program. Directs long-term planning and initiatives geared towards enhanced operations. Directs purchasing managers to develop supplier relationships and improve material costs. Maintain accurate inventory and ensure proper storage of received raw materials Prepare and submit plant operation reports to Upper Management. Other duties as assigned by Management. Skills Strong working knowledge of Microsoft suite products. Strong Presentation Skills required. Experience with overall company financial management is required. Experience with SAP preferred. Fluency in both English and Spanish required. Abilities Judgment and Decision Making - Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Oral Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Written Comprehension - The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing. Problem Sensitivity - The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Written Expression - The ability to communicate information and ideas in writing so others will understand. Speech Recognition - The ability to identify and understand the speech of another person. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field required. Minimum of Ten (10) years' experience in a Manufacturing leadership role required. Experience in Beverage Manufacturing preferred. Other Requirements Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
