Brief Overview:
My client is a professional sports team in the New York Area looking for a Director of Premium Sales.
The Director of Premium Sales is responsible for the long-term retention and growth of the full season, membership, group, and hospitality package members as well as other revenue-generating programs as added to the product portfolio. This will include the service, support and maintenance of assigned customer accounts and meeting all pre-determined individual and department sales and service performance goals.
The successful salesperson will be well-presented, self-sufficient and consistent with achieving sales targets.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 4+ experience and proven track record in sales
- Experience selling Premium, Suites, VIP and/or Hospitality in sports/entertainment is essential
- Experience managing/leading a team of sales people
- A strong network / rolodex of contacts in the New York market is a plus
