Position Summary:

The Director of Product Management will be responsible for leading the India-based product management team and supporting our roadmap, and execution of our CCaaS products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS product management, with experience in CCaaS being a significant advantage. This role requires a visionary leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Engineering: Be a key player in developing and communicating a clear product vision to engineering that aligns with the company's goals and market opportunities.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the product management team in India, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Alignment: Work closely with the US-based team to ensure alignment of product development activities with the overall strategic direction.
• Resource Management: Manage resources effectively to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives.
• Process-Driven Execution: Establish and maintain efficient product management processes, ensuring thorough documentation of product features and user stories. Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed product documentation to guide development and ensure clarity for all stakeholders. Ensure that user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and communicated effectively to the development team.
• Customer Focus: Ensure the India-based product team understands customer needs and market demands communicated by stakeholders.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with engineering, QA, and customer success teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery.
• Metrics and KPIs: Define, track, and report on key product metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decision-making.
• Innovation: Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and incorporating them into product development.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in CCaaS markets.

Skills:

• Experience: 12+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. A strong background in SaaS is required, with CCaaS experience being a significant advantage.
• Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing product teams.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Customer-Centric: Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into successful product strategies.
• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies, particularly in the AWS & SaaS space.
• Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, balancing long-term vision with short-term priorities.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech. in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
